Section 426 Indian Penal Code

Section 426 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about Punishment for mischief. It is under ‘Of Mischief’ of CHAPTER XVII (OF OFFENCES AGAINST PROPERTY) of the Code.

Punishment for mischief

Whoever commits mischief shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both.
