Texas Administrative Code Title 1 Section 54.81

1 Texas Administrative Code § 54.81 – Enforcement of Required Posting of Human Trafficking Signs by Certain Entities

(a) If the Office of the Attorney General becomes aware that a person is in violation or may be in violation of a law enforced by another state agency that requires the posting of a sign or notice relating to human trafficking, the Office of the Attorney General may notify the appropriate state agency of the violation or potential violation.

(b) The Office of the Attorney General must issue a warning to a person described by § RSA 54.80(a) of this title (relating to Required Posting of Human Trafficking Signs by Certain Entities) for a first violation of this subchapter.

(c) For each subsequent violation of this subchapter, a person described by § RSA 54.80(a) of this title is subject to a civil penalty in the amount of $200 for each violation. Each day a violation continues is considered a separate violation.
