Section 87 Nigerian Electricity Act 2023

Section 87 Electricity Act 2023

Section 87 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Tenure of office of members of the Council. It is under Part VIII (Establishment of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission) of the Act.

(1) The Chairman and members of the Council other than ex-officio members shall hold office for four years, renewable for another term of four years and no more.

(2) Members of the Council shall be paid such remuneration and allowances as the Federal Government may determine.
