Section 82 Land Registration Law (LRL) Lagos State 2015

Section 82 of the Land Registration Law (LRL) of Lagos State 2015 provides as follows:

When Probate or Letters of Administration are submitted to the Registrar, he may without requiring registration of the executor or administrator by transmission, register any –

(a) transfer by the executor or administrator of a Will or by way of distribution under intestacy or in pursuance of an agreement between the persons entitled or of a contract entered into by the holder in his lifetime;

(b) discharge of a mortgage of which the deceased person was the holder; or

(c) surrender of a sub-lease of which the deceased person was the holder.
