Section 8 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Power to break out of any house for purpose of liberation. It provides as follows:

A Police Officer or other person authorised to make an arrest who has entered the premises for the purpose of making the arrest and is detained therein, may break out of the house or place in order to liberate himself or any other person.
