Section 76 Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959

Section 76 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Lands lie in grant only. It provides as follows:

(1) All lands and all interests therein lie in grant and a conveyance of an interest
in land may operate to pass the possession or right to possession thereof, without
actual entry, but subject to all prior rights thereto.

(2) The use of the word grant is not necessary to convey land or to create any interest therein.
