Section 76 Matrimonial Causes Act 1970

Section 76 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1970 is about General right of appeal. It provides as follows:

(1) Subject to section 77 of this Act, an appeal shall lie as of right from a decision of the High Court of a State in the exercise of its jurisdiction under this Act to the Court of Appeal and thence to the Supreme Court.

(2) In this section, “decision” means any decree, order or other determination.
