Section 64 Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959

Section 64 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Rights of husband and wife. It provides as follows:

A husband and wife or (if the husband has more than one wife married in
accordance with customary law) wives shall for all purposes of acquisition of any
interest in property (other than an interest by customary tenure), under a disposition made or coming into operation after the commencement of this Law, be treated as separate persons.
