Section 61 Sheriffs and Civil Process Act
Section 61 of the Sheriffs and Civil Process Act 1945 is about Adjournment of examination. It provides as follows:
The court may, if it thinks fit, adjourn the examination form time to time, and require from the judgment debtor such security for his appearance at the adjourned hearing as seems fit, and in default of his finding security may commit him to prison, there to remain until the adjourned hearing, or may discharge him from custody.
