Section 6 CAMA 2020
Section 6 Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020, is about Proceedings of the Board. It is under PART A (CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION) of the Act.
Proceedings of the Board
(1) Subject to this section and section 27 of the Interpretation Act, the Board may make standing orders regulating its proceedings.
(2) The Chairman shall preside at every meeting of the Board but, in his absence, the members present shall elect one of them present to preside at the meeting.
(3) The quorum for meetings of the Board is five.
(4) The Board may appoint any of its officers to act as secretary at any of its meetings.
