Section 56 Investments and Securities Act 2025

Section 56 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about No retroactive effect on proceedings. It is under Part V (Registration and Regulation of Securities Exchanges, Financial Market Infrastructures and other Self Regulatory Organisations) of the Act. It provides as follows:

Insolvency proceedings shall not have retroactive effect on the rights and obligations of a participant arising from, or in connection with, its participation in a system earlier than the moment of opening of such proceedings.
