Section 55 Marriage Act

Section 55 of the Marriage Act 1914 is about Repeals. It provides as follows:

The Marriage Ordinance.’, the Marriage Proclamation”, and the Foreign Marriage Ordinance, 1913, are hereby repealed:
Provided, however, that the said enactments shall continue to apply to every marriage contracted thereunder or validated thereby as if this Act had not
been made.
