Section 51 Land Registration Law (LRL) Lagos State 2015

Section 51 of the Land Registration Law (LRL) of Lagos State 2015 provides as follows:

(1) On satisfaction that the registered holder of a mortgage has a right to consolidate his mortgage with any other mortgage, the Registrar shall, on the application of the holder, make an entry to that effect against the mortgages.

(2) A right of consolidation shall not become operative until it has been entered against both mortgages.
