Section 47 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Power to reject sureties. It provides as follows:

A Magistrate may reject a surety offered under any of the preceding Sections if, in the opinion of the Magistrate, the surety is not a fit and proper person.
