Section 45 Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018

Section 45 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 is about Registrar of the Tribunal. It is under Part VII (The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal) of the Act.

The Tribunal shall appoint a Registrar who shall be a person qualified to serve as the Registrar of a High Court, and shall-

(a) subject to the general control of the Commission, be responsible for keeping records of the proceedings of the Tribunal;

(b) be the head of the Registry and responsible for-
(i) the day-to-day administration of the Tribunal, and
(ii) the direction and control of all other employees of the Tribunal.
