Section 406 Indian Penal Code

Section 405 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about Punishment for criminal breach of trust. It is under ‘Of Criminal Breach of Trust’ of CHAPTER XVII (OF OFFENCES AGAINST PROPERTY) of the Code.

Punishment for criminal breach of trust

Whoever commits criminal breach of trust shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.
