Section 35 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 35 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Security for good behaviour for suspected person. It provides as follows:

Whenever a Magistrate is informed on oath that a person is taking precautions to conceal his presence within the District of the Magistrate and that there is reason to believe that the person is taking such precaution with a view to committing an offence, the Magistrate may, in manner hereinafter provided, require the person to show cause why he should not be ordered to enter into a recognisance, with sureties, for his good behavior for a period, not exceeding one year as the Magistrate thinks fit.
