Section 311 Indian Penal Code
Section 311 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about Punishment of a thug. It is under CHAPTER XVI (OF OFFENCESAFFECTINGTHE HUMAN BODY) of the Code.
Whoever is a thug, shall be punished with 1 [imprisonment for life], and shall also be liable to fine.
