Section 31 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Application of Part II to personal representatives. It provides as follows:

The provisions of this Part of this Law relating to trustees for sale apply to
personal representatives holding on trust for sale, but without prejudice to their rights and powers for purposes of administration.
