Section 309 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Where no commutation, pardon or reprieve. It provides as follows:

If the Governor decides that the sentence should not be commuted or that the offender should not be pardoned or reprieved, he shall cause the Sheriff to be informed and the sentence of death pronounced upon the offender shall be carried into effect in accordance with and subject to the provisions of sections 305 to 311 and the Sheriff shall make arrangements accordingly pursuant to the sentence of death pronounced upon the offender.
