Section 294 Investments and Securities Act

Section 294 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Consolidation and subdivision. It is under Part XVI (Issuance of Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:

Subject to conditions as the issuer may provide, the Registrar shall consolidate or sub-divide securities and issue to the applicant one or more new certificates as may be required on —

(a) the application of a person claiming to be entitled to any debt securities;

(b) being satisfied of the genuineness of the claim of such applicant;

(c) surrender of the certificate relating to such debt securities or of such securities receipted in the specified manner; and

(d) payment of the prescribed fee.
