Section 290 Indian Penal Code

Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 is about  Punishment for public nuisance in cases not otherwise provided for. It is under CHAPTER XIV (OF OFFENCES AFFECTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, CONVENIENCE, DECENCYAND MORALS) of the Code.

 Punishment for public nuisance in cases not otherwise provided for

Whoever commits a public nuisance in any case not otherwise punishable by this Code, shall be punished with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.
