Section 285 Investments and Securities Act

Section 285 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Trustee as underwriter. It is under Part XVI (Issuance of Securities) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A trustee shall not underwrite an offer unless it has been registered with the Commission as an underwriter:
Provided that the trustee shall not underwrite a transaction for which he is a trustee.
