Section 27 Recovery of Premises Act

Section 27 Recovery of Premises Act 1945 is about Penalty on person unlawfully retaking possession. It provides as follows:

A person, who has been put out of possession under a warrant of possession, and unlawfully retakes possession of the premises after possession has been given to the landlord, is guilty of an offence against this Act and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine of one hundred naira or to imprisonment for six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
