Section 254 Investments and Securities Act

Section 254 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Loss of right of lien. It is under Part XV (Commodities Exchange and Warehouse Receipts) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A warehouse operator shall lose the right to the lien on the commodities by —
(a) surrendering possession of the commodities; or

(b) refusing to deliver the commodities upon demand made in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
