Section 23 Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law

Section 23 of the Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law of Lagos State 1997 is about Tribunal to allow tenant seek alternative accommodation. It provides as follows:

Notwithstanding the provision of section 22 of this Law, where in the opinion of the Tribunal it is expedient so to do, it may allow a tenant up to a maximum of six
months to look for an alternative accommodation.
