Section 23 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Warrant issued on complaint to be in writing on oath. It provides as follows:

No warrant of arrest shall be issued in the first instance in respect of any complaint or statement unless it is made in writing on oath by the complainant himself or by a material witness.
