Section 229 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 229 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Removal to another State. It provides as follows:

Whenever it shall be necessary to remove a prisoner to a prison or mental health asylum under the provisions of sections 217 to 229, an order for such removal given under the provisions of sections 217 to 229 shall be sufficient authority for such removal and the detention of such prisoner notwithstanding that such prison or asylum is situate in another State of Nigeria.
