Section 225 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Procedure when person of unsound mind is reported able to make defence. It provides as follows:

When any person is confined under the provisions of section 219 in a prison or a mental health asylum and is certified by the medical officer to be capable of making his defence, such person shall be taken before the Court at such time as the Court appoints, and the Court shall proceed with the trial, and the said certificate shall be
receivable as evidence.
