Section 220 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Resumption of trial. It provides as follows:

Whenever a trial is postponed under section 217 or 218, the Court may at any time re-open or commence the trial de novo and require the defendant to appear or be brought before it.
