Section 22 VAPP 2015
Section 22 of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act 2015 is about Administering a substance with intent. It provides as follows:
(1) A person commits an offence if he intentionally administers a substance to, or
causes a substance to be administered to or taken by, another person with the
intention of stupefying or overpowering that person so as to enable any person to
engage in a sexual activity with that person.
(2) A person who commits an offence under this section is, in addition to any other offence under this Act, liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 10 years or a fine of N500,000 or both.
