Section 218 Indian Contract Act 1872
Section 218 of the Indian Contract Act 1872 is about Agent’s duty to pay sums received for principal. It is under “Agent’s duty to principal” of CHAPTER X of the Act. CHAPTER X is titled AGENCY.
Subject to such deductions, the agent is bound to pay to his principal all sums received on his account.
