Section 214 of the Indian Contract Act 1872 is about Agent’s duty to communicate with principal. It is under “Agent’s duty to principal” of CHAPTER X of the Act. CHAPTER X is titled AGENCY.
Agent’s duty to communicate with principal
It is the duty of an agent, in cases of difficulty, to use all reasonable diligence in communicating with his principal, and in seeking to obtain his instructions.
