Section 212 Electricity Act 2023

Section 212 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Negligently breaking or damaging electricity materials. It is under Part XX (Offences and Penalties) of the Act.

A person who, negligently breaks, injures, throws down or damage any material connected with the supply of electricity, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of N300,000 in addition to the restoration of the damaged material or line.
