Section 209 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 209 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Counsel for the prosecution and for defendant. It provides as follows:

(1) The prosecution and the defendant shall be entitled to conduct their respective cases in person or by legal practitioners.

(2) Where the defendant is in custody or on remand, he shall be allowed access to his legal practitioner at all reasonable times.
