Section 196 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Application of the Evidence Law. It provides as follows:

Subject to the provisions of any other written Law, the examination of witnesses shall be in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Evidence Law applicable in the State.
