Section 19 Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law

Section 19 of the Rent Control and Recovery of Residential Premises Law of Lagos State 1997 is about Improvement of accommodation by tenants. It provides as follows:

Where a tenant with the previous consent in writing of the landlord effects
improvements on his accommodation and the landlord determines the tenancy before the expiration of the tenancy, such a tenant shall be entitled to claim
compensation for the effected improvements on quitting the accommodation.
