Section 185 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Warrant for arrest of witness not attending on recognizance. It provides as follows:

If any person who has been bound by recognisance to attend as a witness, whether for the prosecution or for the defence, at the trial of any case does not attend Court on the day appointed for the trial of such case after having been served with notice of the trial, and no reasonable excuse is offered for such non-attendance, the Court may issue a warrant to arrest such person, and to bring him, at a time to be mentioned in the warrant, before the Court in order to give evidence on behalf of the prosecution or of the defence, as the case may be.
