Section 183 Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959

Section 183 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Acquisitions of reversions at an under-value. It provides as follows:

(1) No acquisition made in good faith, without fraud or unfair dealing, of any
reversionary interest in real or personal property, for money or money’s worth, shall be liable to be opened or set aside merely on the ground of under value.
In this sub-section “reversionary interest” includes an expectancy or possibility.

(2) This section does not affect the jurisdiction of the court to set aside or modify
unconscionable bargains.
