Section 181 Investments and Securities Act

Section 181 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Liability of custodian for loss of assets. It is under Part XIII (Collective Investments Schemes) of the Act. It provides as follows:

The custodian shall indemnify the investors against any loss or damage suffered in respect of money or other assets in the custody of the custodian and which loss or damage is caused by a willful or negligent act or omission by the custodian.
