Section 176 Child’s Right Act

Section 176 Child’s Right Act 2003 is about Reference to child looked after by State Government. It is under Part XV (State Government Support for Children and Families) of the Act.

Where, in this Part of this Act, a reference is made to a child who is looked after by a State Government, that reference is to a child who is‐
(a) in the care of the State Government; or

(b) provided with accommodation by the State Government in the exercise of any functions under this Part of this Act;
