Section 174 Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) Lagos

Section 174 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Persons acquitted or convicted may be tried again on separate charge in certain cases. It provides as follows:

A person acquitted or convicted of any offence may afterwards be tried for any distinct offence for which a separate charge might have been made against him on the previous trial under the provisions of section 153.
