Section 17 Recovery of Premises Act

Section 17 Recovery of Premises Act 1945 is about Court may appoint person to value improvements. It provides as follows:

(1) A court may—

(a) from time to time, and at any time, appoint by writing as in Form H one or more persons to estimate the value of any unexhausted improvements in respect of which a claim or counter-claim is made, and to report in writing as in Form I to the court thereon, and

(b) make and remuneration such order as of it those thinks fit in respect of the expenses and remuneration of those persons.

(2) The provisions of the Stamp Duties Act shall not apply to persons appointed by the court under this section.
