Section 17 Nigeria Police Act

Section 17 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Oath to be taken by officers on appointment. It is under Part V (General Administration) of the Act. It provides as follows:

A person appointed as a member of the Police Force shall, prior to the commencement of duties, subscribe to the official oath, the police oath and the oath of allegiance under the Oaths Act.
