Section 161 Investments and Securities Act
Section 161 of the Investments and Securities Act 2025 is about Approval of prospectus and other offer documents. It is under Part XIII (Collective Investments Schemes) of the Act. It provides as follows:
(1) Any letter, notice, circular or document prepared by the manager for the purpose of offering units or securities of a scheme to the public, shall be approved by the trustee or custodian as the case may be and submitted to the Commission for approval before such letter, notice, circular or document is published.
(2) There shall be included in the document referred to in subsection (1), information in relation to such matters, if any, as may be prescribed by the Commission.
