Section 161 Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos State, as amended in 2021, is about Attempt where Full Offence is Proved. It provides as follows:

Where a person is charged with an attempt to commit an offence but the evidence establishes the commission of the full offence, the defendant shall not be entitled to an acquittal but shall be convicted of the full offence, and punished accordingly.
