Section 160 CAMA 2020

Section 160 Companies and Allied Matters Act is about Payment for shares. It is under Call on and Payment for Shares of Chapter 8 of PART B (Incorporation of Companies and Incidental Matters) of the Act.

Payment for shares

Subject to the provisions of sections 161 and 162, the shares of a company and any premium on them shall be paid up in cash, or where the articles so permit, by a valuable consideration other than cash or partly in cash and partly by a valuable consideration other than cash.
