Section 155 Electricity Act 2023

Section 155 of the Electricity Act 2023 is about Monitoring of rural electrification projects. It is under Part XVI (Rural Electrification Agency) of the Act.

(1) The Agency shall provide an appropriate machinery for the monitoring of rural electrification implementation projects nationwide.

(2) The mechanism for rural electrification monitoring shall include the use of geographic information system and geo mapping technologies to monitor projects effectively, generate and analyse projects data without physical visits to projects locations.
