Section 140 Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959

Section 140 of the Property and Conveyancing Law of the Western Region of Nigeria 1959 is about Form of discharges of statutory mortgage or charge. It provides as follows:

A statutory mortgage may be surrendered or discharged by a receipt in the form
(No. 5) set out in the Fourth Schedule to this Law with such variations and additions,
if any, as circumstances may require.
