Section 14 Nigeria Police Act

Section 14 of the Nigeria Police Act 2020 is about Appointment of other persons. It is under Part IV (Appointment and Functions etc. of the Deputy Inspector-General Of Police, Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police and other Persons into the Nigeria Police Force) of the Act. It provides as follows:

The Police Service Commission shall appoint such other persons to offices in the Police Force as are required for the effective and efficient performance of the functions of the Police Force on such terms and conditions as maybe prescribed by the Police Service Commission.
